At the age of seven, Kannon Zhao was born in 2016 in the charming town of Magnolia, Arkansas. Two years ago, he embarked on a new adventure when his family relocated to the vibrant city of Dallas, Texas.

Currently a second grader, Kannon’s journey into the world of music began just a year ago when he eagerly started learning piano. What truly distinguishes Kannon Zhao is his remarkable mastery of sight reading, which he executes with a musical finesse that transcends his age. His nimble and dexterous fingers further enhance his musical prowess, setting the stage for his remarkable journey in the world of piano. This unique blend of skills has not only enabled him to participate in a multitude of prestigious competitions but has also secured him a coveted spot in the prestigious IMKA International Competition.

Each day, Kannon’s piano skills undergo continuous refinement and growth, a testament to his unwavering dedication and passion for music. His commitment is palpable as he diligently hones his craft in preparation for an eagerly awaited piano recital scheduled for December.

But Kannon’s talents extend beyond the piano keys. He’s a versatile young individual who enjoys a variety of activities. In addition to his musical pursuits, he’s an avid athlete, taking on tennis and soccer with enthusiasm. And when it’s time to unwind, you can often find him engrossed in the world of electronic games.
