Weronika Kucharska Flute

Weronika Kucharska, born on 26 May 2008 in Poznań (Poland). She started playing the flute at the
age of 6, but became interested in music already at preschool age. In the years 2014-2022 she
attended the Poznań General Music School No. 2 named Tadeusz Szeligowski, where she learned to
play the flute under the direction of Mrs. Justyna Pikulska. Now he is in the 2nd grade of the
Secondary School of Music named Jadwiga Kaliszewska in Poznań, in the class of Lidia Abucewicz.
Since the age of 6 she has participated in many concerts and competitions on a provincial, national
and international background. In 2023, she took part in the Eastgate Youth Orchestra project, where
she performed as a soloist. She is the winner of many awards and competitions. Her greatest
achievements include: 1st place at the 7th National Flute Competition in Bielsko Biała, organized by
the Centre for Artistic Education (CEA); 2nd place at the 42nd Young Music Competition in
Szczecinek, organized by CEA and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage; Grand Prix at the IV
Competition of Woodwind Ensembles KONSONANS; three times 1st place at the International
Competition of Wind Instruments FINALIS in Białystok; 1st place at the 6th International Music
Competition OPUS 2024 in Krakow; 1st place at the International Music Competition in Brussels; 3
times 1st place at the WORLD OPEN Online Music Competition in Belgrade. Her achievements were
appreciated by the Mayor of Poznań, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the National
Centre of Culture.
