Zita Toma was born in 2006.
In 2011 she started studying at Ādazhi music school, accordion class.
In 2015 Zita got the 2nd place at the 13th International accordion competition ‘’Naujene
2015’’ in Daugavpils and the 1st place at the regional accordion competition in Cēsis.
In 2016 she got the 1st place at the Latvian state competition, the 1st place at the 14th
International accordion competition ‘’Naujene 2016’’ in Daugavpils, the 1st place at the
International accordion competition in Prague.
In 2016 and 2017 she got the annual prizes in culture from Carnikava council.
In 2017 Zita got three 2nd places at International accordion competitions in Limbazhi,
‘’Naujene 2017’’ in Daugavpils and ‘’Viva la musica’’ in Daugavpils, the 1st place at the
Latvian national competition ‘’Talent for Latvia’’, the 1st place at the International accordion
competition in Prague.
In 2017 and 2018 she got the annual prizes in culture from the Ministry of Culture of Latvia.
In 2018 Zita got the 2nd place at International accordion Competition ‘’Naujene 2018’’ in
Daugavpils, two 1st places at International Internet music competition in Serbia and North
International Internet music Competition, one 2nd place at III Madrid International music
Competition and the 3rd place at the 3rd Rising Stars Grand Prix Competition, Berlin.
