Hyejin Lee was born in South Korea where she began her musical studies at age 10. Ms. Lee is dedicated to her career as both an active performer and a passionate teaching for all ages.

She has completed her doctoral degree in violin performance and minor in music and medicine at the University of North Texas having been awarded the University Graduate Scholarship, College of Music Scholarship, Anshel Brusilow Scholarship in Orchestral Studies and The Lupe Murchison Foundation Scholarship. Ms. Lee received University Graduate Scholarship at the University of Cincinnati where she completed her master’s degree. She received her bachelor’s degree from Chungang University where she was concertmaster of the Chungang Symphony Orchestra.

Ms. Lee won many competitions such as the Golden Classical Music New York International Competition, Korea Germany Brahms Association Competition, Seoul Shinye New Musician Music Competition, and the Korean Music Association Competition, and Chungang University Competition.

She has wide orchestral experience including Sherman Symphony Orchestra, Richardson Symphony Orchestra, and Gacheon Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, she served as principal, assistant principal at University of North Texas Orchestra, assistant concertmaster at University of Cincinnati Orchestra and concertmaster at University of Chungang University Orchestra.

Ms. Lee has been teaching six years in the United States. Currently, she is teaching at Lebanon Trail High School, Frisco High School and Ted Polk Middle School as well as performing with the Sherman Symphony Orchestra as a first violinist.

Ms Lee has won 1st prize in IMKA Music Violin Competition.
