Sandra Siudak, born 21.04.2003 in Cracow. She began her musical education in 2010 at the Ignacy Paderewski I Degree General School of Music at 8 Basztowa Street in Cracow in the flute class of M.Sc. Agnieszka Cywińska-Olma. Currently, she graduated from the third class at the Władysław Żeleński State Secondary Music School at 9 Basztowa Street in Cracow, in the class of M.Sc. Ewa Dumanowska.
She took part in many concerts, events and competitions. Among her greatest achievements is the Grand Prix at the International Solo Flute Competition – Il Flauto Ricercato, organized by the Centre for Artistic Education. In addition, Sandra was also awarded the title:
- 1st Prize at the 7th International Flute Competition in Katowice
- 1st Prize at the International Competition of Musical Interpretation in Krasiczyn
- 2st Prize at the 5th National Flute Competition in Bielsko-Biała
- Special Mention at the International Flute Competition in London
During her education she had a chance to cooperate with such professors as: Prof. Janos Balint, Prof. Barbara Świątek-Żelazny, Prof. Antoni Wierzbiński, Prof. Elżbieta Woleńska, Dr. Ewelina Zawiślak. Also as a scholarship holder she was studied with Prof. Carlo Jans, Prof. Mario Carolli, in Luxembourg and with Prof. Barbara Gisler-Haase at the Music University in Vienna. As a part of the special award she received at the International Flute Competition in Katowice – masterclass with Denis Buriakov. As a pupil of the Pro Musica Bona Foundation she performed many concerts at the events like the XLIV Festival Music in Old Cracow and at the Center for Jewish Culture. She’s also the holder of a Scholarship from Lion’s Club International.
