Metka Črnugelj

Metka was born in 2003 in Postojna. When she was seven years old she started
playing flute with her teacher Suzana Furlan Mitev. In 2018 she successfully passed an entrance exam at
Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana where her current teacher is Nataša Paklar. She has
attended masterclasses with renowned professors such as Karolina Šantl Zupan, Birgit Böhm and Eva-
Nina Kozmus.
Her achievements are:
 State Music Competition Temsig (2013) – Silver Prize
 International Music Competition Davorin Jenko (2013) – Laureat and Golden Prize
 International Music Competition in Trieste (2013) – Third place and Golden Prize
 State Music Competition Temsig for chamber music (2015) – Silver Prize
 State Music Competition Temsig (2016) – Third place and Golden Prize
 International Music Competition in Varaždin (2017) – Golden Prize
 International Music Competition Emona (2018) – First place and Golden Prize
 State Music Competition Temsig (2019) – Third Place and Golden Prize
