Daria Domachowska was born in 25.06.1998 in Poland. She has been studying
violin with prof. Andrzej Gębski and as. Gwidon Ciężarek since 2017 at
Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
She participated in International Music Courses in Łańcut, International Music
Academy in Bałoszyce and International Music Courses in Opole. She also had
an opportunity to take part in masterclasses with Anna Gutowska, Krzysztof
Polonek, Jerzy Hazuka, Frank-Immo Zichner and Magdalena Szczepanowska.
Daria has won prizes at several Violin Competitions, such as:
- 2 nd Prize at North International Music Competition (Stockholm, Sweden
2019) - 2 nd Prize at International Competition of Bohdan Warchal in playing the bow
string instruments (with String Quartet – Dolny Kubin, Slovakia 2019) - 3 rd Prize at National Violin Conferences (Gdynia, Poland 2017)
She was a member of Chopin University Modern Ensemble in 2018-2019. In
2019 CUME released their first debut album with the music of XXth and XXIst
century.
She also became a member of ESO’2021 (European Student Orchestra)
in Brussels, Belgium.
