My name is Maria Tomaszewska. I was born 7th May 2004 in Skierniewice.
At the age of 8 I started learning to play the piano in Music State School of
1st degree of F.Chopin in Skierniewice. For two years (2017-2019) I learned
in Self-Governing Music School of 2nd degree of F.Chopin in Skierniewice.
Since 2019 I have been a student of Music High School of 2nd degree of
H.Wieniawski in Łódź. My teacher is Katarzyna Kling.
I took part in piano competitions: V Danubia Talents International Music
Competition 2020( 3rd prize),International Chopin Festival in Mazovia –

Sochaczew in years 2015-2018,2020 (laureate), Piano Music Festival-
Łowicz in years 2013,2016 (award), Regional Auditions CEA- Łódź in 2016

(4th prize), National Polish Music Competition- Skierniewice in years
2015,2017(4th prize), Żyrardów young Pianist’s Competition in 2016,
Children’s duets competition – Duettino- Warsaw in years 2013,2015 (4th
prize), Regional Instrumental Duet’s Confrontation’s – Brzeziny in 2014 (4th
prize).
My abilities I developed taking part in music courses: Summer Musical Cours
in Szczecinek in years 2016,2018, National Piano Metodical Workshops in
Łańcut in 2017, Festival Internazionale Dei Colli- San Gemini in 2019. I took
part in workshops ran by: prof. Maria Serafin, Paweł Gorczyński, Beata
Bilińska, Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just, Witold Holtz, Katarzyna Kling.
My reward for my artistic achierments was possibility for perform in Fryderyk
Chopin’s Birth House in Żelazowa Wola, Mazowiecki Culture Instytut in
Warsaw, Warsaw Music Society, Ballroom in Castle in Łańcut, Prymas
Palace in Skierniewice.
My future I associate with music. I like to hang out playing ukulele,having
fun with my dog. During the winter I like skiing and during the summer-swim.
