Samantha Dugar Soprano

Samantha Dugar, a Mexican soprano, began her musical training in 2010.
During 2015 and 2016 he studied at the José Jacinto Cuevas Music Center (CEMUS), in Mérida, Yucatán, under the tutelage of tenor Hugo Pinto Alonzo.
In 2017, she began her singing studies at the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey and studied until the third year with the teacher Damallanty Castillo.
Since 2018 he has been a student of the teacher Thusnelda Nieto Jara, former director of the Faculty of Music at UNAM.
In the city of Monterrey he participated in presentations organized by the Chamber Choir of the Faculty of Music, UANL, the Superior School of Music and Dance of Monterrey and the Opera Workshop of the Faculty of Music, UANL.
She debuted with the leading role of Bastiana in the opera Bastián y Bastiana in December 2019. Staging of the FAMUS Opera Workshop.
He has participated in various competitions, including the Linus Lerner International Singing Competition in its 2020 edition, the Katzarava Voice Festival, the 1st Verónica Villarroel International Singing Festival, the 1st National Singing Competition “Irreverent Voices-Voces con Causa” In which he participated, he reached the semifinal round and the IMKA Internet Music and Dance Competition in which he obtained second place.
She has actively participated in the workshops for international voices organized by StudioKatzarava, thanks to which she has received personalized lessons from teachers María Karzarava and Verónica Villarroel. He also actively participated in the summer course organized by Irreverent Opera.
He has participated in masterclasses with leading professors and armchairs in the country, among which are Rogelio Riojas-Nolasco, Yvonne Garza, Enrique Ángeles, Oziel Garza-Ornelas, César Castro, José Antonio Espinal, Óscar Velázquez and professors María Katzarava and Verónica Villarroel.
