Izabela Wiktoria Oliwia Torfs MultiInstrumentalist

Izabela Wiktoria Oliwia Torfs was born in 12 December 2012 in Antwerp, Belgium. She is bilingual as her mother is Polish (born in Szczecin) and her father Belgian (born in Antwerp).
Her passion for music started in Oktober 2018, when she started music theory and some basics of playing the violin under tutorship of Blanka Mester. When she started learning from Serdar Erkmenis (May 2019, Vioolschool Leidschenveen), she immediately improved tremendously and July 6 2019, she had her very first public concert (Student concert of Vioolschool Leidschenveen), where she played three songs from Fiddle Time Joggers (no 18, 21, and 27) accompanied by pianist Gulmira Issabekova.
In September 2019, Izabela added piano to her curriculum by joining the Pianoschool Haagse Lande, under tutorship of Hulya Keser.
Due to the Covid 19, Izabela was following both violin and piano lessons through Skype since the beginning of the pandemic.
In the summer of 2021, she also added vocal lessons to her curriculum, since she enjoyed not only playing ‘Darkside’ of Alan Walker, but also singing the text while playing the piano. The singing classes are held by Kasia Olechno.
Izabela likes a broad spectrum of artists, such as, A. Vivaldi, F. Chopin, O. Rieding, R. Schumann, but also A. Walker, and Y. Tiersen. She enjoys both classical pieces as well as pop music. At times, she even composes some small pieces for piano or violin.
In her spare time, Izabela enjoys reading books such as ‘Warrior Cats’, ‘Dolphin School’ and comics, and construction things with Lego. She is an animal and nature lover.
