Georgi Petrov Koparanov

Georgi Petrov Koparanov is born on 17 th of October, 2009 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He started
playing violin when he was 5 years old.
He participated in the following competitions:

  • 2016 – ХІ International Classical Music Competition for Young Performers, 22-24
    April 2016, Pernik, Bulgaria he won the 1 st prize;
  • 2017 – Eight stringed instruments competition, Nish, Republic of Serbia he won the
    1 st prize;
  • 2018 – XIV National competition “Orpheus gift”, April 2018 he won the 2 nd prize;
  • 2018 – 22 nd International Competition of Bohdan Warchal in playing the bow string
    instruments, Dolny Kubin, Republic of Slovakia he won Honorable mention III;
  • 2019 – 24 th International Competition Petar Konjovic, Beograd, Republic of Serbia
    won 2 nd prize;
  • 2019 – International Competition for Music performers as a part of Tryavna art
    festival, 6-11.08.2019,Tryavna Bulgaria won 1 st prize;
  • 2019 – “Leonel Morales & Friends – Music Festiva & Masterclass” – Violin
    Masterclass conducted by Zornitsa ILarionova in Granada July 2019;
  • 2020 – VIII National competition „Road to glory”, Sofia Bulgaria, 14-16.02.2020,
    won 1 st prize;
  • 2021 – ХV International Classical Music Competition for Young Performers, 14-16
    May 2021, Pernik, Bulgaria he won the 2 st prize;
  • 2021 – International Competition The sound of time, Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria, 5 July
    2021 – 1 st prize;
  • 2021 – Music Competition Online 2021, Paris, France July 2021 – 1 st prize;
    From the beginning of the musical development of Georgi his teacher is Blagorodna Taneva
    from National music school “Lyubomir Pipkov”, Sofia Bulgaria.
