PAMELA KIŠ IGNJATOV Opera

Pamela graduated in solo singing at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in class of prof. Milica
Stojadinović in 2008. During her studies, she held many solo concerts in the country and
abroad, performed on RTS and RTV televisions, gave concerts with the Academic Symphony
Orchestra, as well as with the Ars Opera Chamber Orchestra.
She’s a winner the award of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Karadjordjevic for outstanding
achievements during his schooling and the award of the Executive Council of Vojvodina for
the most talented student in the field of music.
With the role of Gilda from Verdi’s opera “Rigoletto”, she completed her master’s studies at the
Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, with the highest grade.
During her studies, she was a scholarship holder of the fund for the improvement of vocal art of
young people, “Melanija Bugarinović and daughter Mirjana Kalinović-Kalin”. She
auditioned in Hungary, after which she got the main female role of Lesbina in Haydn’s opera
“Fishermen”, which was performed as part of “Zempléni Fesztivál” in 2009.

He is the ambassador of the “Laza Kostić” foundation, in which he has performed as a long-
term member in various cultural and educational-artistic projects. Within the foundation, she

recorded a CD dedicated to children, who are of significant interest to the artist.
Since 2012, she has been the soloist of the Chamber Music Society in Novi Sad, founded by
Miodrag Milanović, in which she has played numerous leading roles in operas performed both at
the Serbian National Theater and on stages throughout Serbia, with two plays performed in
Slovenia on the occasion of the centenary of the death of composer Davorin Jenko.
She received significant criticism on the occasion of the premiere of the monoopera M.
Tariverdi’s “Expectation” on the stage of the Serbian National Theater, which was performed
for the first time in Republic of Serbia and region. Critics emphasize the beauty of her voice: “In
Novi Sad, our protagonist revived the monoopera” Expectation “for the first time with masterful
and enviable artistic inspiration. understandable text, and above all pure intonation, dramatic
heights and experienced acting ” . (Marija Adamov). The monoopera is a project of the Chamber
Music Society.
In Lisbon (Portugal), she had a notable solo concert at the Galician Center (2013), in the
“Xuventude de Galicia” hall, after which she received an invitation from the Ambassador of the
Republic of Serbia to Portugal to hold a solo concert in 2014.
On the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia, he is holding a solo concert in
the prestigious palace “Palácio Foz” in Lisbon in 2014.
The German Association of Kikinda (Der Deutsche Verein Kikinda) in cooperation with the
German Embassy in Serbia is organizing a solo concert by Pamela Kis Ignjatov at the National
Museum of Kikinda to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of composer Richard Strauss in
2014.
She is currently engaged at the Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad, where she sings the role
of Melania in Dejan Despić’s comic opera “Pop Ćira i pop Spira”.
Since 2009, he has been working at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad at the Department of Solo
Singing.
She received her D.A. from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 2020 and thus obtained the title
of Doctor of Arts.
During 2020 and 2021, she won four international awards at competitions in Serbia, Italy,

Russia and Romania.
