Mark Lev Krajnc was born in 2007. He started learning the violin at the age of five and a half. In his

first five years of elementary music school, he was taught by prof. Barbara Kolbl. He finished the 6th-
8th grade of the elementary musical education at the Fran Korun Koželjski Music School in Velenje in

the class of prof. Danica Koren.
He passed the early entrance exam to Performing Arts Grammar School in Velenje where he
continues his musical education on secondary level (1st year of parallel education) in the class of
professor Danica Koren. At the same time he attends the 9th grade of primary school.
He perfected his knowledge at seminars with professors such as Miran Kolbl and Anna Morgoulets
and he attended violin masterclass “Summer Music School of Professor Danica Koren Neuvirt” in
Zaton (Croatia) nine times in a row.
Mark Lev is the recipient of two Korun awards (school years 2019/20 and 2020/21), which are
awarded by the Fran Korun Koželjski Music School in Velenje to the most successful students.

Mark Lev Krajnc regularly participates in national and international competitions and is recipient of

Mark Lev enjoys music very much. He can no longer imagine his life without the violin and wants to
continue on the path of a successful solo violinist.
