Thawanhathai Rujichaitammakul Piano Excellence

Thawanhathai Rujichaitammakul has been awarded Outstanding Piano Educator Award.

She was dedicated to teaching and building young pianists in Thailand since 2008. Her students have won top prizes in national and international competitions including the Osaka Music Competition, the UCSI Piano Competition, the Macao-Asia Pacific Youth Piano Competition, the Hong Kong Asia Pacific Piano Competition, the WPTA Piano Competition, and the Steinway Competition Thailand. She served as a jury member at the VI International Music Competition and Art Skills Competition for The Private Education Commission in Thailand.

Thawanhathai received a music scholarship and graduated first class honors. She holds a Bachelor in Music, with a piano major from the College of Music at Mahidol University, and has a Master’s degree of music in music therapy. She is well-versed in working with special-needs children, and proficient in using musical elements for musical and non-musical related goals. She worked as a music therapist at Siriraj Hospital, and Chulalongkorn Hospital from 2013 to 2016, and was a mentor for projects at the Foundation for Children with Disabilities.

Nowadays, Thawanhathai is fulfilling her passion of guiding the next generation of young pianists to realize their potential, build discipline, and have fun.
