Jan Turkiewicz – violinist
From an early age my parents awakened my love to music, so in 2005 I began my violin education at the Music School in Gliwice. My achievements from this period are: 3rd prize in the National Auditions CEA in Warsaw in chamber ensembles category, Grand Prix in the National Competition of Chamber Ensembles in Trzciana and two distinctions in the Macroregional Auditions CEA Students of Secondary Music Schools in Katowice and Chorzow.
After graduation from my secondary school in 2017, I’ve started studying at The Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wroclaw. My last achievements are: 2nd prize in the I Brussels International Music Competition, 1st prize in the ISCART International Music Competition in Switzerland and 2nd prize in the I SWISS International Music Competition. I am currently on the second year of master’s degree studies in the violin class of Jacek Ropski – Doctor of Arts degree.
