Petar Pavliš was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 2008. At age of seven he
started play the flute and last year he finished elementary music
school on the flute. Three years ago he started learning bassoon
with prof.Ivana Lovrić and now he is a student of the first grade of
high school „Pavao Markovac“ in the class of prof. Lovrić.
During his vocational training, he won several first prizes at
national and international competitions. In 2020. he won the 1 st
prize in the I. category on the bassoon at the 58th Croatian
competition of music and dance students. In 2021. at the 59th
Croatian competition of music and dance students he won the 1 st
prize in the I. category in the discipline of solfeggio at the regional
and state levels. In December 2021. he received the first prize at
the International Woodwind and Brass Competition in Varaždin,
declared the absolute winner in the bassoon discipline and
entered the Finals of the competition where he was awarded a
special prize, a bassoon seminar in Grožnjan. In April 2022. he
won the 1 st prize in the III. category on the bassoon at the 60th
Croatian competition of music and dance students at the regional
and state levels. This year he won the 1 st prize in 13 th WORLD
OPEN Online Music Competition winning performance level:
virtuoso performer. In May this year he performed as a soloist at a
gala concert accompanied by the orchestra of professors of music
school “Pavao Markovac”. He is also a member of the SO-DO
Symphony Orchestra.
