International award winner, Trek Boyland is described to have “a beautiful, lofty sound” with “dynamic phrasing” (MTNA Young Artist Competition). Working as a multi-faceted instrumentalist in Denton, Texas, Trek values excellence, artistry, and pedagogy. Trek Boyland is a passionate performer and music educator currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in saxophone performance. As an active chamber musician of the UNT college of music, Trek was part of the 2021-2022 UNT Wind Symphony and holds the tenor chair in the saxophone quartet, Lotus.
