Meet Izabela Stańczyk: Young Pianist with International Awards

Izabela Stańczyk is a Polish pianist born in 2010 in Tarnów, Poland. She graduated
with distinction from the First-Level Music School in Domosławice, named after
Father Professor Józef Tischner, where she studied under the tutelage of Natalia
Drozen-Czaplińska. Since 2025, she has been continuing her musical education at
the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Complex of Music Schools in Tarnów, as a student of the
Second-Level Music School, in the piano class of Lidia Skrok.
She takes part in concerts, auditions and piano competitions. She has also
participated in many prestigious masterclasses and music courses, working under
the guidance of some of the most distinguished professors, including Zofia Antes,
Beata Bilińska, Agnieszka Kopińska, Karol Radziwonowicz and Filip Wojciechowski.
Her talent has been recognized at both national and international music competitions.
Her achievements include, among others, 3rd Prize at the 3rd International Piano
Competition in Libiąż (Poland, 2022), an Honourable Mention at the 11th & 12th
National Piano Competition “Spring Music Meetings” in Kolbuszowa (Poland, 2022 &
2023), Trophy Winner in the piano category at The Istanbul Dream International
Music Festival in Istanbul (Turkey, 2025), 2nd Prize at the 14th International Music
Competition VirtuClassic (Poland, Autumn 2025 Edition), First Prize with Honors at
the International Youth Music Competitions (Atlanta, USA, January 2026 Edition), 1st
Prize at the IMKA Music and Dance Competition (Sarajevo, March 2026 Edition), an
Honourable Mention at the 8th International Music Competition OPUS 2026 (Kraków,
Poland).
Izabela is a multiple-time recipient of the Małopolska Scholarship Programme co-
financed by the European Union. In addition to her piano training, she continuously
expands her musical horizons by developing her passion for singing.
