Taiwanese-born American pianist I-Wen Wang is completing Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Her professional training at Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music includes piano performance, piano accompanying, chamber music, music theory, music history, keyboard skills, piano literature, piano pedagogy and piano technology workshop.

She received scholarships for her academic achievement, including Edna S. Mason Piano Scholarship and Music Department Scholarship from the Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers), Yefim Bronfman Piano Scholarship (Israel), James Dick Foundation for the Performing Arts (Texas), Arabella Leith Symington Griswold Piano Scholarship (Peabody) and Janet & Walter Rose Piano Scholarship (SFCM). She made many piano solos, chamber music and orchestral performance appearances in the United States, Canada, Israel, China, South Korea, France, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, and Taiwan. i wen wang
