Kristina Krstić was born on 22nd of March 1994 in Pančevo, Serbia, where she finished musical school “Jovan Bandur” in prof. Marija Ligeti-Balint class. Then, in 2017, she finished her master studies on College of Music in Belgrade in prof. Branko Penčić class where she currently is on specialization studies. She also participated in numerous masterclasses and seminars, most recently working with pianist Nikolay Demidenko.
During her studies she participated on number of competitions for young pianists and chamber ensembles and won multiple prizes. Success as a solist she achived in Zrenjanin, 2004, at “Competition of young Pianists”. In the following years she was laureate at competitions “Donne in musica” in Kruševac and won first prizes at the same competition in Kragujevac and at “Festival of young Pianists” in Šabac. She is also winner of numerous prizes at republic competitions of students of music in Serbia, and at competitions in Šabac, Ub and Kovačica ( notable competition of pianists “Wendl and Lung”). In 2012 at international level she participated on competition “Banjalučki Bijenale” wining second prize and in 2016 she won first award at “Chopin Fest”. At the same time, in multiple chamber ensembles , she won first and second awards at many important competitions ( Republic Competition of students from musical and ballet schools of Serbia, “Davorin Jenko” in Belgrade and others).
She took part at representative concerts in Belgrade very often ( Grand Hall and Gallery “Kolarčeva Zadužbina”, Assembly of Belgrade, Gallery SANU, Students Cultural Center, Russian Home, ambassy of republic of Poland…), as in Kragujevac, Pančevo, Tuzla. As solo pianinst and cooperator she participated at many humanitarian and gala events. “Tajanstvene dirke” was one of her projects that she worked on with mentor and prof. Marija Ligeti-Balint trough which came collection of compositions from students in profesors class.
