The violin duo ”Octo Cordae”  is committed to the promotion and the diffusion of violin culture. The duo was formed in 2016 at the Academy of Music Specialization “Europena Arts Academy A. Ciccolini” in the South of Italy, during courses in violin and chamber music held by M° Carmelo Andriani.  The duo has performed for major concert organizations such as “La Camerata Salentina” and for severale seasons and festival such as The Sarrofestival 2017 in Trani, The International Festival of Young talents Asociation Camelia Rubra (Tv), for the first Edition of the Concerts of Classic Music in Stigliano (Mt), for the IX Concert Season “I Concerti dell’Eurorchestra”;in Rome Seasons “I Concerti del Tempietto”,  in Bari and for numerous musical context in Puglia and Basilicata  among which Museum in Puglia and Basilicata. Winner of several competitions (1st Prize at the 20th Edition of the International competition Euterpe in Corato, 1st Absolute Prize  at the 9th Edition of the Eurorchestra Nuovi interpreti 2018 Competition in Bari). In 2018 they  recorder for the Label Farelive, his first album with music by Leclair, Viotti, Wieniawski and de Beriot, in world diffusion and also presented for Radio Tre and Rete Toscana Classica. The duo also collaborates with the Pianist  Michele Fazio. The duo won second prize in the chamber music category of the Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition, and was invited to perform in the Elgar Room of the Royal Albert Hall in London.
