Flutist and pianist
is founder of YouTube’s The Flute Channel, The Flute Talk Podcast and The Montreal Flute Festival. From symphonic music, contemporary music, world music, chamber music and improvised music she has been heard over 10,000,000 times all over the world online including CBC radio, Radio-Classique, WPRB Princeton, ClassicFM and many more. She also played in different ensembles for the season’s of SMCQ, Festival du Monde Arabe, Montréal Nouvelle Musique, Festival de Lanaudière, XFest and many more. She has a bachelor degree in performance from Université de Montréal and a Diploma in Advanced music performance studies from Concordia University, both with the highest marks and distinction in her classes. She received the Marusia Yaworska scolarship that recognizes the excellence of music performance graduate students. She is also a passionate educator and she holds a bachelor degree in music education from University of Quebec in Montreal(UQAM). Among her engagements with orchestras and ensembles she was a soloist performing, Griffes Poem for Orchestra, Marta Ptaszyńska (1943) – Concerto Pour Flûte Et Harpe, Et Orchestre, Jacques Hétu Concerto for Flute and Orchestra Op.51 and Concerto Traversée for flute and orchestra by Gilles Tremblay with Orchestre 21, under the baton of maestro Paolo Bellomia. Critic Claude Gingras from La Presse described her as an «extraordinary technician of her instrument», describing her playing as expressing the «most beautiful energy»
