Zarema Sitshayeva

Zarema Sitshayeva was born in 2011 in Simferopol, Crimea, Ukraine. She began playing the violin when she
was 5 years old at the Kyiv Children’s Music School named after D.Kabalevskiy in Kyiv under the supervision
of Olena Yurchenko.
In 2018 Zarema was awarded numerous prizes:
● 2nd place in the VI International Instrumental Competition of Yevhen Stankovych, Kyiv, Ukraine
(April 2018);
● 2nd place in International Festival-Competition of Classical Music, Song, Dance and Arts “Talented
Children of Ukraine”, Kyiv, Ukraine (May 2018);
● 2nd place in International Competition “You are my destiny” Valletta, Malta (June 2018);
● 1st place in III Geneva International Music Competition, Switzerland (July 2018) – 92 points;
● 2nd place in “International Colors of Europe” European Art Festival Kharkiv, Ukraine (August 2018);
● 2nd place in International Television Festival-Contest of Arts “Ukrainian Unison” Kyiv, Ukraine
(October 2018);
● Grand Prix in All-Ukrainian Music Olympiad “Voice of the Country” competition Kyiv, Ukraine
(November 2018);
● 2nd place in International Competition “Sounds and rhythms of Vienna” Vienna, Austria (December
2018);
And in 2019 she received:
● Grand Prix in International Art Competition “Christmas Fairy Tale” 2019 Odessa, Ukraine (January
2019);
● 1st place in International Competition “DIGI-TALENTY. Winter 2019 ”Swidnica, Poland (February
2019);
● 2nd place in I International Art Contest “CA ART WORLD” Kyiv, Ukraine (March 2019);
● 1st place in International Competition “DIGI-TALENTY. WIOSNA 2019 ”Swidnica, Poland (March
2019);
● 2nd place for string instruments with orchestra in VII International Instrumental Competition of Yevhen
Stankovych, Kyiv, Ukraine (April 2018);
● 1st place in X International Instrumental Competition “International music competition” Belgrade,
Serbia (April 2019) – 95,33 points;
● 2nd place in International Instrumental Competition “International Music Competition Opus 2019”
Poland (April 2019);
● 1st place in International Competition for Musical Instruments “Con Anima” Belarus (April 2019);
● 1st place in III International Oscar Reading Competition for Young Musicians in Celje, Slovenia (May
2019);
● 1st place in XV International Culture Caravan – 2019 “DIGI-STARS SPRING” Volin, Poland (May
2019);
● 1st place in International Internet Competition for Children’s Stringed Music “Magic Bows” Kyiv,
