HELENA SYDOR was born on November 7, 2006 in Krakow. She joined the
Ignacy Jan Paderewski 1st level Comprehensive School of Music in Krakow,
Poland (Elementary School) in the piano class of Mrs. Monika Bylica at the age of
7. She in seventh grade this year. Since 2016 she is practicing piano duet
playing conducted by Mrs Danuta Zielinska. A year ago she changed partner in
the duet. Currently she plays together with Łukasz Mleczek of Mrs. Zielinska’s
piano class. In 2019 she was awarded 3rd prize in the International Art and Music
Contest in Nałęczów, Poland playing in duet with Łukasz. In previous edition of the
same contest she was awarded, too.
Helena has got a younger brother and sister. She loves playing tennis and skiing,
listen to music and traveling.
ŁUKASZ MLECZEK was born on April 19, 2007 in Łańcut, Poland. He In 2013 he
started his education in the Ignacy Jan Paderewski 1st level Comprehensive
School of Music in Krakow, Poland in the piano class of Mrs Danuta Zielińska.
Since the beginning he performs in many concerts and competes in music
competitions playing piano solo or in duet. Last year his new piano duet co-player
became Helena Sudor. The recent achievement is 3rd prize at the International
Art and Music Contest in Nałęczów (June 2019). He was also awarded in theory of
music contests in his school in 2017, 2018 and 2019. He is strongly involved in
other projects and music events at school. Among his hobbies are sports: hand
ball, soccer, winter sports. His favorite music group is Queen.
