The MoNo Guitar Duo consists of Italian guitarist Giuseppe Molino and
Polish guitarist Anna Krystyna Nowicka, who have first met in 2010, at
the academic course at Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, in the class
of Maestro Domenico Ascione. Before Nowicka and Molino created
MoNo Guitar Duo they have already been awarded at many national and
international music competitions. MoNo Guitar Duo was born in 2017
and the main goal of the musicians was to deepen and expand musical
repertoire for two guitars with their own transcriptions.
Over last three years the two musicians have performed in many Guitar
and Musical Festivals in Italy and abroad, for example playing their
interpretations of the Rossini’s Overtures in front of distinguished
opera experts.
The most recent accomplishments of MoNo Guitar Duo include the 1st
Prize in the chamber music category at the 18th International Music
Competition “Leopoldo Mugnone” in Caserta/Italy; the 1st Prize at the
18th International Music Competition “Paolo Barrasso”; the 2nd prize at
the 1st Florence International Guitar Competition; the 2nd prize at the
3rd International Competition “Paola Ruminelli” for chamber ensembles
with guitar in Domodossola/Italy as well as the Most Distinguished
Artist award during the XXVIII IBLA Grand Prize.
On the top of constant musical research both Anna Nowicka and
Giuseppe Molino are very involved in musical education, by giving
masterclasses and seminars focusing on the most important aspects of
the musician’s training and growt
