MałgorzataRusak – born in 1997 in a musical family in Gorzów Wielkopolski. She began learning the piano at the age of five. She graduated with distinction from the 1st and 2nd degree School of Music in Gorzów Wielkopolski. Currently, she is a second year MA student at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań in the piano class of prof. dr hab. BogumiłNowicki. During years of studying, she has played projects with chamber music orchestras and symphony orchestras. Małgorzata performs both as a soloist and chamber musician, her artistic achievements include first Polish performance of the Piano Concerto No. 5 in C major, Op. 15 by John Field. Moreover, her repertoire includes pieces by classical, romantic and contemporary, particularly Russian, composers.As a Master Class and piano workshops participant, Małgorzata has been improving her skills under the guidance of a number of foremost Polish and international pianists.
Małgorzata is also a beneficiary of scholarships including: Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań for artistic and scientificachievements, Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań Scholarship for the best students.
Małgorzata is furthermore a first year MA student of Russian philology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. During her scientific activities she focuses on the field of comparative literature studies and the problem of translating the specialist texts in the field of music, which allows combining her two big passions – Russian music and literature.
