Maja Cywinska

Maja Cywińska was born in 09.03.2004 in Cracov. She began studying the clarinet at the age of 10, at the Zygmunt Noskowski I Degree General School in the clarinet class of mgr Robert Kuś. While studying there she took part in many concerts and competitions, for example Regional Auditions of the Artistic Education Center of Music Schools Students of 1st and 2nd Degree in Nowy Targ, “Jupiter” 2018 or concerts with the school brass band in the Cracow Filharmonic. Currently, she continues playing the clarinet under the guidance of dr hab. Piotr Lato at the Władysław Żeleński State Secondary Music School at 9 Basztowa Street in Cracow in the second grade. Recently, she won: 2nd prize in VI London International Music Competition, 3rd Prize in VIII Competition for the Best Made Miniature of the Wind Instruments Section (chamber music groups), 2nd Prize in IMKA Online Music Competition. She plays in Basztowa Concert Band. During pandemic of coronavirus she took part in various projects (online orchestras) like Film Music Festival – movie suites “Moomins and the Winter Wonderland” and “The Coldest Game” (Let’s Play Together Orchestra) or “Co Mi Panie Dasz” arranged by Adam Sztaba
