Agata Powrósło was born in 2006 in Opole (Poland). She started playing the flute at the age of 6.
Currently she is a student of Fryderyk Chopin Secondary Music School in Opole (Poland), in Mrs. Anna
Dzienniak’s flute class. She had opportunity to meet and learn from several inspiring professors. She
has had masterclasses with: Peter-Lukas Graf, Mario Caroli, Aldo Baetrten, Urszula Janik, Wiesław
Suruło, Cezary Traczewski.
She is a winner of the number of flute national and international competitions such as XXIII
International Competition “Petar Konjovic” in Belgrad – Serbia (1st Prize), I International Music
Competition in Kyoto – Japan (2nd Prize), VI Odin International Music Online Competition Estonia
(2nd Prize), 29°Internationale Competition “Citta di Barletta” in Barletta – Italy (1st Prize), XVII
National Competition for Young Soloists in Jaworzno – Poland (Grand Prix), IV Świętokrzyski Wind
Competition in Kielce – Poland (1st Prize), XVI National Spring Flute Competition in Sochaczew –
Poland (2nd Prize), X National Competition Jupiter in Kraków – Poland (1st Prize), IX Polish Flute
Festival in Sieradz – Poland (2nd Prize). She obtained the scholarships from President Opole City
(2014-2020).
