Dominika Stanisz Violin

Dominika Stanisz (born in 1997) is a young violinist from Poland, currently a Master’s
student of Jan Stanienda and Roksana Kwaśnikowska at the Fryderyk Chopin University of
Music in Warsaw.
Dominika has been awarded in numerous competitions, national and international
alike. Her most notable achievements are: first prize winner in the WORLD OPEN Online
Music Competition (2021) and an award winner in the 4th “In Baroque Style” Festival
National Competition in Poland (2021).
She has significant performance experience, as a soloist, chamber music performer and
in an orchestra. She has given a number of solo recitals e.g., BA graduation diploma recital in
Music Academy in Kraków, in Artur Malawski Symphonic Orchestra in Rzeszów (2016) and
as part of violin masterclasses: in Kołobrzeg, Łańcut, Przemyśl, Lusławice, Rycerka Górna,
Czarny Las in Poland (2010-2019).

In 2016 she was the concertmaster of Polish Youth Orchestra (Lutosławski Youth
Orchestra) and performed with LYO string quartet in Germany (2016). She was a guest player
in many symphonic concerts with the Chicago Philharmonic, Polish National Radio
Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Yucatan Symphony Orchestra in
Mexico, Karol Szymanowski Philharmonic in Kraków and Artur Malawski Symphonic
Orchestra in Rzeszów. Dominika participated in the tour of China with the Rzeszów
Symphonic Orchestra in 2017-2018. She has performed in various cities in Poland, France,
Germany, China and Mexico.
Dominika has also taken part as a performer in many international festivals such as
“La Folle Journeé” in Warsaw, AMUZ Youth Spring to Come festival, International Festival
Duetissimo in Kraków and Music Youth Festival in Sachsen-Anhalt.
