Rafal Marek Wisniewski

– Born 13.07.1997 in Gdansk, finished F. Nowowiejski General Education and Music School in Gdansk.Today he is a student of Stanislaw Moniuszko Music Academy in Gdansk. He recived many awards in international competitions. Among others: I prize in IX CONCORSO MUSICALE CITTA’ DI FILADELDIA INITALY, two III prizes in solo and ensamble category in VII Stocholm International Music Competition 2019, III prize in IV National Youth Competition of String Instruments Elblag 2015, III prize in XII Macroregional Chamber Meetings Gdańsk 2015, Honorable Mention in the Regional Auditions for Artistic Education Centre Music School Students II degree in Gdansk, HONORABLE MENTION with VERY GOOD RESLULTS on 3. Rising Stars Grand Prix 2018 International Music Competition Berlin.
He was triple times soloist of Chamber Orchestra of F. Nowowiejski General Education and Music School in Gdansk 2016, twice soloist of Chamber Orchestra of S. Moniuszko Music Academy in Gdansk 2017, soloist with BalticAlians Chamber Orchestra with Maesto George Tchtitchinadze and Jakub Jakowicz.Cooperated with many artists as Tomasz Tomaszewski and Agata Szymczewska, Krystyna Jurecka, Thanos Adamopoulus, Maciej Rakowski, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Wlodzimierz Prominski, Yuko Kawai, Lukasz Blaszczyk, Alena Baeva, Adrian Varela, Jan Regulski, Karolina Piatkowska-Nowicka, Robert Kwiatkowski, Christian Elliott and Jakub Jakowicz.
He was also a member of many chamber music projects like – first violin group in Lutoslawski Youth Orchestra 2015, first violin group (3th chair) in Polish National Youth Orchestra LYO 2016 where he had opportunity to learn from musicians from Philharmonia Orchestra from London, co-founder of Kameralna N-harmonia 2016 and co-founder of BalticAlians Chamber Orchstra. In 2020 played live concert in RADIO GDANSK with Gdansk Music Academy String Quartet.
Twice stypedndist of President of Gdansk sholarship for outstanding artistic acheivements, twice stypendist of Mobility Fund in Gdansk and stypendist od Music Academy in Gdansk for the best students in 2019.
