Weiyi Pei,born in 2000,principal harp of Xuzhou No. 1 Middle School Symphony Orchestra since 2011, won the Encouragement Award of the first International Harp Competition of Central Conservatory of Music.
In 2015, she was admitted to the Middle School attached to the Central Conservatory of Music with the first score in major.
In 2016, she served as the principal harp of The Chinese Youth Wind Orchestra and won the first prize in the Chinese youth music competition “Hummingbird Music Award” .
In 2017, she was invited to performin Xuzhou Concert Hall as the solo harpist. She won the third prize in the International Youth Music Competition in Salieri, Italy. She attended the World Harp Congress in Hong Kong.
In 2018, she served as the principal harp of China Youth Symphony Orchestra. She was selected as the youngest player in the professional group of the 4th Korea International Harp Competition. She was invited to attend the opening ceremony of Chinese Art Festival.She held two recitals in the Recital hall of the Central Conservatory of Music. She participated in the 4th Hong Kong International Harp Festival.
In the same year, she was admitted to China Philharmonic Youth Symphony Orchestra.
In 2019, She was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music with the highest score in major and joined the China Youth Symphony Orchestra as the principal harp..
In2020,she won the first prize of China Harp Competition.
In 2021,she wonthe Certificates of Achievement in The 4th New Talent British International Youth Music Competition.Gold Prize in International Grand Music Competition2021.1st Prize in Festival “Paints of the Spanish Sun”. 1st Prize in Festival “Portugal art carnival” .Second Prize in the 21st Century Talents Strings Competition. 1st Prize in IMKA Music Competition. Versatile Musician Award, Gold Prize of group Master – age 28 & under ,Gold Prize of 20th – 21st Century Music Best Performance in London Young Musician Competition.
During the period of school, She received advice and praise from Chantal Mathieu,Sylvain Blassel,Marie-Pierre Langlamet, Jaymee Haefner and other masters.
