Born in Singapore in 2011, Leem Jia En studies her music under Ms Khoong Shok Meng, Music Principal at
MW Fine Arts Academy Singapore. Her passion in music brought her to learn various instruments. She
began her piano study at age 6, Guzheng at age 9 and recently she picked up trumpet as her third
instrument during the year end school holidays. She is thrilled and honoured to receive 1st Prize in both
Piano and Guzheng in IMKA Music Competition! She has also won numerous musical awards from
international competitions and recently was invited to debut in Carnegie Hall in Year 2023 for both of her
instruments. Outside of her musical interests, she also participates in public speaking competitions and
won numerous distinctions from Trinity College of London in Communication Skills. She also enjoys
playing basketball and badminton during her free time. Jia En has also been awarded Star pupil of the
Year 2021 from her academic school, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ Primary School.
