Aleksandra Żmuda Flute

Aleksandra Żmuda was born in 2002 in Cracow. She began her musical education in 2012 at the Bronisław Rutkowski Primary Music School in Cracow. Currently, she is attending the Bronisław Rutkowski Secondary Music School in Cracow, studying in the flute class of dr hab. Renata Guzik. 

She has many achievements in the competitions, among others: I prize at the I Kyoto International Music Competition, I prize at the King’s Peak International Music Competition in California, II prize at the 1st International Mark Rothko Competition of Young Performers of Modern Music in Daugavpils, I prize at the 2nd Iscart International Music Competition in Lugano, II prize at the International Music Competition OPUS 2021 in Kraków, Gold at the IV International Competition for Wind Instruments ,,Finalis” in Białystok, II prize at the IV Geneva International Music Competition,  Distinction at the VI International Flute Solo Competition ,,Il Flauto Ricercato” in Łódź.

She took part in various concerts, events and music projects. She took part in Erasmus+ project ,,European countries’ national music as a perspective in education and professional careers of young musicians”.

She attended masterclasses with excellent professors, such as: prof. Barbara Świątek-Żelazna, prof. Janos Balint, dr hab. Ewelina Zawiślak.  She is also the holder of a Scholarship ,,Regional Scholarship Program financed by the Małopolska Region”.
