Anna Szymkowicz was born on February 2 2006 in Rzeszow, Poland. In 2012 she started her education by taking music lessons at local private school. In 2014, at the age of 8, she started studying in the Music School in Blazowa in the piano class of Olga Pogorilec. Then she achived her first successes in the piano competitions, such as: 2nd prize at VIth Macro-regional Piano competition – Kolbuszowa, Poland (2016), 2nd prize at IXth National Festival of Early Music – Lezajsk, Poland (2016), 2nd prize at VIIth Macro-regional Piano competition – Kolbuszowa, Poland (2017), 3rd prize at VIIIth at National Music Competition – Kolbuszowa, Poland (2018). In 2018 she began studying at Secondary Music School no. 1 in Rzeszow under the direction of Anna Szybkowska. She has also improved her skills at master classes with prof. Mariusz Sielski. Now she participate in International Competitions such as: 2nd place at International Open Online Music Competition – Belgrade, Serbia (2021), 1st place at International Internet Music Competition “IMKA” – Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (2022).
