Delfin Demiray was born on 2005 in Ankara/Turkey. At the age of 8, she began to study piano at
Bilkent Music Preparatory School. She is now continuing her studies in 11 th grade. She studied with
Elif Önal, Başar Can Kıvrak and Yoonie Han. For 4 years she has been a student of Barno
Haknazarova. She attended several competitions. Some of her successes included; Incentive Award/
Pera International Piano Competition (İstanbul/Turkey-2016), Audience Award/ AmiCaFest
International Piano Festival (Sicily/Italy-2017), Honorable Mention/ Mozart Academy International
Piano Competition (İzmir/Turkey-2018), Full Scholarship Award/ Bilkent International Piano Festival
(Ankara/Turkey-2018). She attended masterclasses with Stanislav Loudenitch, Gülsin Onay, Enrico
Elisi, Tian Ying, Sofia Gulyak, Özgür Aydın, Jahye Kim, Jura Margulis, Rustem Hayroudinoff, Dasha
Moroz and Gülnara Aziz. She has played piano in several school concerts and Bilkent University
Library Concert Series. She performed in MozartHaus Young Talents Concert Series (I-V), Korean
Culture Center Concert, Emirtan Archeology and Art Museum (Dio-Piano Concert). During her
education, she also studied drama at Bilkent Children’s Theater, Ankara Art Theatre (AST) and
Theatre 367 in Ankara/Turkey. She is now continuing her music education and drama studies.
