MARZENA NICIEWICZ is a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University
of Music in Warsaw. For 30 years she has been teaching the flute
class at ZPOSM No. 3 in Warsaw. For outstanding achievements in
didactic, educational and artistic work, she received 3 Awards of the
Director of the Center for Artistic Education (2002,2007,2013) and
the Award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2019).
She was also awarded the Silver Medal of the President of the
Republic of Poland (2011). As a flautist, she has been performing with
the Nadarzyn Orchestra for 20 years, promoting Polish culture
around the world. She has performed at international competitions,
festivals and shows “Street Parade” in Europe, the USA, Asia and
Australia, including Pulaski Day Parade – New York, Esplanade Concert
Hall – Singapore, Royal Opera House – Muscat – Oman, Tasmania,
China, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand.
