Duo Di Marino-Andreolli is born in spring 2019 from a fortunate encounter at the Conservatory
of Trento (Italy). From there begins an intense phase of study and in-depth examination of the
vocal chamber repertoire.
The duo has performed an intense concert activity for organizations in the north of Italy active in
the region Trentino-South Tyrol; in 2021 it had the chance to perform unpublished music by
Riccardo Zandonai in collaboration with Centro Studi Riccardo Zandonai of Rovereto.
It won several prizes in national and international music competitions including 1st Prize at the
IMKA music competition 2022, 1st Prize at the 6th International Music Competition “Diapason
D’oro” in Pordenone (Italy), 2nd Prize at the 14th National Music Competition “Città di Piove di
Sacco” (Italy) and 2nd Prize at the 6th International Music Festival and Competition “Città Murata”
in Cittadella (Italy).
Elena Di Marino, soprano, graduated with honours at the “F.A. Bonporti” Conservatory of Trento
and Riva del Garda (Italy) under the guidance of M° Daniela Longhi.
She sang for the Festival of Sacred Music of Trento and Bozen, the International Festival of
Sacred Music of Pordenone, the Concerts of Sant’Andrea in Empoli. She sang the role of 1st Elf in
F. Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Bonporti Conservatory orchestra. She
collaborated with the Settenovecento Orchestra, performing I. Stravinsky’s Pulcinella in 2020 and
W.A. Mozart’s motet Exsultate Jubilate in 2021.
In 2020 she won the second prize at the 12th International Young Musicians Competition – City of
Treviso.
She has been a chorister in important Italian choral groups such as the Italian Youth Choir and UT
insieme vocale-consonante conducted by M° Lorenzo Donati.
She is currently attending the master’s degree in Operatic singing at the Conservatory of Trento
and the Musicology master’s degree in Bozen as well.
Gioele Andreolli graduated with top marks in Korrepetitor at the “F. A. Bonporti” Conservatory in
Trento (Italy) with M° Fabio Consoli and M° Cristina Crotti. He studied piano with M° Denis Zardi
and specialised in piano accompaniment studying with M° Enza Ferrari and attending courses at
the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
He obtained the diplomas in Organ and Choir conducting in the Diocesan Institute of Sacred
Music of Trento.
Since 2015 he has been active as an accompanist pianist in several choral formations and
organisation, including the choir of the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena in 2019. He works
as a Korrepetitor in various orchestras of the Region Trentino-South Tyrol, including the
Filarmonica Settenovecento Orchestra, working alongside M° Alessandro Bonato.
He is currently graduating in the master’s degree in Korrepetitor at the “G. Verdi” Conseravatory in
Milan with M° Umberto Finazzi and M° Luigi Marzola. He is attending the Korrepetitor
specialization course at the “Accademia dei Mestieri dell’Opera” of Coccia Theatre in Novara
(Italy) with M° Margherita Colombo, and the master0sdegree in Choir Conducting at the
Conservatory of Trento with M° Lorenzo Donati.
