Barbara Pliszka was born in Olsztyn on December 19, 2003. She began learning to play the violin at the
age of 7 at the Fryderyk Chopin State Music School of the 1st and 2nd degree in Olsztyn. Currently, she
is a student of the 6th grade at the Mieczysław Karłowicz Poznań General Secondary Music School in
the class of prof. Izabela Gubańska. While studying, she actively participates in the artistic life of the
school and the city of Poznań. In recent years, Basia has taken part in over 90 competitions as a soloist
and chamber musician in various ensembles (from duet to nonet), winning numerous laurels and awards.
