Ignacy Kapica, 12 years old, was passionate about music in all its manifestations from an early age. At
the age of 3, he built a double bass from blocks and gave concerts for the whole family. He regularly
pissed off his neighbors by playing abstract one-hour piano recitals, sang a lot and was very sensitive.
At the age of 6, after analyzing several instruments, he decided to start playing the trumpet at a
music school in Gdansk. The very first sounds he made from it were of extraordinary quality. Playing
the trumpet makes him very happy and most of all he likes those moments when he attracts the
attention of listeners at concerts.
He’s not a big fan of spending hours practicing an instrument, he prefers to play concerts. Just like
every boy, he likes to spend time with electronic devices. He also has a sports talent and trains
football regularly as an attacking midfielder. The trainer sometimes calls him “the brain of the team”.
Ignacy has participated in over a dozen competitions, including international ones, where he was
noticed and distinguished.
He likes playing in instrumental ensembles and has been playing in the school big band for a year
now. He does not know yet whether he will be a trumpeter or a footballer.

Ignacy Kapica, lat 12, od najmłodszych lat pasjonował się muzyką we wszelkich jej przejawach. W
wieku 3 lat zbudował kontrabas z klocków i dawał na nim koncerty całej rodzinie. Regularnie wkurzał
sąsiadów grając godzinne abstrakcyjne recitale na domowym pianinie, wiele śpiewał i
charakteryzował się dużą wrażliwością. W wieku 6 lat, po analizie kilku instrumentów zdecydował się
na rozpoczęcie gry na trąbce w szkole muzycznej w Gdańsku. Już pierwsze dźwięki które z niej
wydawał charakteryzowały się niezwykłą jakością. Granie na trąbce sprawia mu olbrzymią
przyjemność, najbardziej lubi te momenty, w których wszystko mu się udaje i przykuwa uwagę
widowni na koncertach.
Nie jest wielkim fanem spędzania godzin ćwicząc przy instrumencie, woli grać koncerty. Tak jak każdy
chłopiec lubi spędzać czas przy urządzeniach elektronicznych. Ma tez talent ruchowy i regularnie
trenuje piłkę nożną, grając jako ofensywny pomocnik. Trenerka czasami nazywa go „mózgiem
drużyny”.
Ignacy ma na swoim koncie udział w kilkunastu konkursach, w tym również międzynarodowych, na
których był zauważony i wyróżniony.
Lubi grać w zespołach instrumentalnych i od roku gra w szkolnym bigbandzie. Jeszcze nie wie, czy
będzie trębaczem, czy piłkarzem.
