Adam Musialski graduated with distinction from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in
Katowice where he studied violin with Prof. Roman Lasocki. He participated in master classes in Łańcut,
Żagań, Weimar, Salzburg, Lenk improving his skills under the guidance of such professors as Jadwiga
Kaliszewska, Stanisław Lewandowski, Jean Fournier, Sándor Végh, Charles-André Linale, Ruggiero
Ricci and Eva Solar-Kinderman. He has been a laureate of numerous violin competitions, as well as
Special Prize of the Wilanów Quartet and “The Honouring of Two Prizewinners” Award at the
International Summer Academy of Music in Switzerland. He has been a scholarship holder of the
Ministry of Culture and Arts. He has given recitals and performed as a soloist with symphony
and chamber orchestras in Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Slovakia, Ukraine, Yugoslavia, Austria,
Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Australia and the USA. He performed at concerts dedicated
to Karol Lipiński in the Philharmonic Concert Hall in Lviv and Mieczysław Karłowicz in Zichy Palace in
Bratislava, he participated in the jubilee concert of Krzysztof Penderecki in the Warsaw Philharmonic
Concert Hall in Warsaw, he performed three times with Kammerorchester “Collegium Iuvenale
Salisburgense” Mozarteum in Salzburg, he also appeared in the Palau de la Musica concert hall in
Valencia at the special concert devoted to the memory of Yehudi Menuhin as well as in Deutsches Theater
in Berlin at the concert which was broadcast live by the German TV station Phoenix.
He has taken part in prestigious concerts on the occasion of important anniversaries and European
events with the participation of famous figures from the political world.
He has participated in many prestigious festivals, including Masters of Polish Violin Playing, The
Stars Promote, the Krystyna Jamroz International Music Festival, Karol Szymanowski Music Days,
ISCM World Music Days, Millennium Pace, South Australia Jubilee Music Festival, Salzburger
Festungskonzerte Chamber Music Festival, Schubertiade.
He has made radio, television and CD recordings and the music for films awarded at international
film festivals in Europe and the USA.
He has also rendered the world premieres and the first recordings of violin works of the 20th and
21st century.
He conducted violin courses at the International Music Courses in Łańcut as well as violin master
classes within “The Stars Promote” Festival in Jelenia Góra.
He is also a member of jury of national and international music competitions.
He is a professor at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.
