MA Urszula Buda – has graduated from Music Academy in Krakow (Poland), piano class of professor
Maria Szmyd-Dormus. She is a lecturer on University of Rzeszów in Music Institut. She is also piano
teacher in Music Schools Complex number 1 in Rzeszow (Poland) and in Music School in Głogów
Małopolski (Poland).
Her students achieve significant success. They are laureates of over 140 international and national
competitions, largly organized by the State Art Education Centre and the Ministry of Culture and
National Heritage. The students that are titled for outstanding achievements, received scholarships
from the President of the City of Rzeszów in the field of Artistic Creation and the Board of the
Subcarpathia Province “Do Not Lose Talent” and the National Children’s Fund (the fund takes care of
the most talented musicians of the young Polish generation). Urszula Buda’s pupils have performed
on many stages like – at the Royal Castle in the Mazovia Center of Culture and Art in Warsaw, at the
European Krzysztof Penderecki Center in Lusławice, at the Hasior Gallery and at Witkacy Theater, at
the Atma Museum in Zakopane, at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Żelazowa Wola, at the Artur
Malawski Podkarpacka Philharmonic and many more. The successes of Urszula Buda’s students
significantly contribute to promoting the school, young talents and the Subcarpathia Region on the
national and international forum, by representing the capital of Subcarpathia in the country and
abroad, such as during the Polish Culture and Business Week in Gainesville (USA).
In her professional achievement are many science publications regarding music education. For her
service to education, she was awarded with medal from National Education Commission. She
received Diploma from Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. She also received honorary
distinction “Meritorious for Polish Culture” from Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
