Monika Lis was born on 22.12.1997 in Poland. She graduated from the Ryszard Bukowski
Music School in Wrocław. She has just finished her Bachelor studies at the Academy of Art in
Szczecin in the class of dr Joanna Kowalczyk, where she is continuing her Master’s.
She has participated in many national and international masterclasses, among others: II Polish
Flute Congress- International Flute Festival 2019, Polish Flute Meeting in Katowice 2021, Old Ox
Master Classes 2021 and 2022, Forum Flute and Piano,  Pomerania Academy 2022. She is also a
laureate of several competitions, both at the academic and international level, among them: II
place in the 3rd  “Laszlo Spezzaferri” International Music Competition  2021, II place in academic
competition SOLO for winds instruments 2022, I place in the 2nd Swiss International Music
Competition 2022,  III place at the academic competition “Miniatura” 2022.
She develops her skills both as a soloist and as a chamber musician and orchestral musician.
The most enjoyable thing for her is creating music with other people.
