Luigi Borzillo, born in 1998, starts piano study at ten years old.

He studies at Universidad Alfonso X in Madrid with M° Giuseppe Devastato where he’s attending  the Master.

He already did piano recitals in prestigiuos european locations: in Milan at Auditorium Gaber of Skyscraper Pirelli, at University Bocconi, in Spain at Auditorium UAX of Madrid and Eutherpe Auditorium of Leon, in Switzerland at S. Moritz, in Osimo at Teatro La Nuova Fenice, in Napoli at Auditorium Aldo Ciccolini, Chopin Saal, palazzo Venezia-Napoli and Anglican Church, in Salerno at Archive of State, in Valtellina at Auditorium of Morbegno.

He played like solist with varius orchestras: Filarmonic Orchestra of Bacau Romania in Milan, Filarmonic Orchestra of Calabria in Lamezia Terme, Orchestra Sinfonietta Giglia in the Mondial Auditorium of poesy in Recanati, Orchestra Opera in Roma in S. Paul Church in Rome.

He won the prize Morbegno Piano Festival, where the public chose the winner, having the possibility of playing the next season.

He won First Prize at Grand Prize Virtuoso 2017 of Salzburg, and he has been invited to debut at Wiener Saal of Mozarteum.

On september 2017 he won Bronze Medal at Global Music Awards of Los Angeles

In 2014 august he has been selected by Maestro Sir Antonio Pappano to perform a recital of piano solo in the “Pasquale Pappano Memorial”. After this, enjoing the tecnical and musical qualities he gave him the possibility of playing two concerts together.

In 2015 Luigi made his debut under direction of Sir Pappano with Emperor Concert of Beethoven, played with Orchestra Filarmonica of  Benevento and the next year they played also the First Piano Concerto of Liszt.

He took part at national and international piano competitions winning the Firts Absolute Prize at ”Nuova Coppa Pianisti” di  Osimo (AN); at  12 ° Gran Premio Europeo della Musica “Mendelssohn Cup”, Taurisano (LE); al 9° Concorso Nazionale “Città di Bucchianico” (CH); al 17° Concorso Nazionale “Flegreo” di Bacoli ; al 12° Concorso Europeo “Don Matteo Colucci”, Torre Canne di Fasano (BR); all’11° Concorso Internazionale  “Città di Caserta, Belvedere di San Leucio” (CE); al 4° Concorso Nazionale “Città di Airola” (BN); al 16° Concorso Pianistico “Luigi Paduano”, Cercola (NA); al 17° Concorso “Campi Flegrei”, Premio Pianistico “Città di Pozzuoli” (NA); al 3° Concorso Pianistico Europeo, premio “Don Enrico Smaldone”, Angri (SA); al 1° Concorso Pianistico Nazionale “Giovanni Paesiello” Pulsano (TA); al 4° Concorso Pianistico Nazionale “Mirabello in Musica”, Mirabello Sannitico (CB); al Concorso Internazionale “Città di Morcone” (BN); al 16 ° Concorso di Musica “Città di Mercato San Severino”, (SA); al  XI Concorso Nazionale Giovani Musicisti, Viterbo (VT); al  12 Concorso  Pianistico Internazionale “Leopoldo  Mugnone”  di Caserta; al Concorso Europeo di Musica Jacopo Napoli, Cava de Tirreni (SA); al 20° Concorso Nazionale per Giovani Musicisti, Città di Camerino (MC).

He won the  first prize at 14° Concorso Nazionale “Riviera Etrusca” , Piombino ( LI); at 25° Concorso Pianistico Nazionale “Città di Albenga”;  at 7° Concorso Internazionale  “Trofeo Città di Greci” (AV); at 12° Concorso Pianistico Internazionale “Città di Rocchetta”, Rocchetta a Volturno (IS); at 9° Concorso Internazionale di Esecuzione Musicale “Valeria Martina”,  Massafra (TA); at 3° Concorso Internazionale, premio “ Maria Grazia Vivaldi”, Montalto Ligure (IM). Moreover he was finalist at the competiotion “Young Pianist of the North” of Newcastle in 2015.
