Hong Kong-born flautist is a scholar of the R C Lee Centenary Scholarship. He is
currently studying Artist Diploma in Performance at the Royal College of Music, London under the
tutelage of Sue Thomas, Katie Bedford and Emer McDonough. He was previously awarded his MMus in
Performance with Distinction at RCM and BA in Music with First-class honours from the Chinese
University of Hong Kong where he studied with Ivy Chuang.
Marco has held principal positions in several orchestras and collaborated with Chung Chi Orchestra as
concerto soloist. Marco is also enthusiastic about piccolo and baroque flute playing, both of which he is
studying with Stewart McIlwham and Rachel Brown respectively. Additionally, Marco works as an active
conductor with particular interest in wind orchestral music. In the past, Marco has performed in venues
in United Kingdom, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Japan and Hong Kong. Upcoming highlights include
new recital series featuring works by living composers.
