Zuzanna Małgorzata Budzyńska

Zuzanna Małgorzata Budzyńska (born 11.09.1997 in Radzyń Podlaski) is a student of prof. Edward Zienkowski at Universitat fur Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien in Vienna (where she also studied in 2019 within the Erasmus+ Program) and of prof. Andrzej Gębski at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She is a member of three ensembles – Budzyńska-Ogryzek Duo (violin-piano), Cuore Piano Trio and Polish Soloists. She is a laureate of many international and nationwide solo and chamber music competitions, i.a.: 1st prize at 2. France Music Competition 2020, 1st prize at IV North International Music Competition in Stockholm (2019), 1st prize at 3rd Brilliant Talent Discovery Awards International Music Competition in Singapore (2019) or 2nd prize and “Klassik Preis” at the Antonio Vivaldi International Competition Vienna (2018).
Zuzanna is an active soloist and chamber musician. She gave concerts as a soloist with orchestras such as the Moscow Chamber Orchestra “Musica-Viva”, Sinfonietta of the Warsaw Chamber Opera, Płocka Symphonic Orchestra or “Archetti” Chamber Orchestra.
Zuzanna has performed as an orchestra musician multiple times. She took part in many international music courses as an orchestra member in Poland, Germany and the Netherlands. In the years 2011-2016 she was the first concertmaster of the Zenon Brzewski Warsaw String Orchestra. Together with the Józef Elsner Symphonic Orchestra she performed alongside members of the Polish National Philharmonic Hall’s Symphonic Orchestra at the National Philharmonic Hall in Warsaw. Currently she is one of the concertmasters of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music Symphonic Orchestra and a member of the Polish Soloists String Orchestra, which is an ensemble created of the best musicians of the young generation in Poland. In 2016 she performed as a guest musician with the LGT Young Soloists at the “Abu Dhabi Classics” Festival together with composer Stephan Moccio. In 2018 she performed with the Webern Ensemble Wien at the Wien Modern Festival in Vienna.

She performed in Poland (i.a.: the National Philharmonic Hall, National Theatre, Royal Castle in Warsaw, K. Penderecki European Centre for Music), Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, France (Bibliothèque Polonaise de Paris, Salle des Fêtes in the mairie of the 6th arrondissement of Paris), Russia and United Arab Emirates.
Zuzanna took part in many masterclasses in Vienna, Zell am See (A), Goch (DE), Łańcut or Lusławice (PL), where she worked with professors such as Wolfgang Marschner, Michael Frischenschlager, Rosa Fain or Sergey Kravchenko. She was a scholar of the Polish Prime Minister, Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Centre for Artistic Education, Société Générale Bank, National Childrens’ Fund and Rector of The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. In 2017 she became a laureate of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage “Young Poland” Scholarship Program.
